Great interview with Jim Chanos. Talks about how he views the current market, where he sees the best short opportunities, and what it takes to be a short seller in an environment where everyone is constantly pumping stocks. youtu.be/MYm33zOpT0g?is=u8Gj…

"The left won, and they don't even appreciate it. The world's first trillionaire has done more to solve environmental problems than everyone else on Earth combined." @gavinsbaker: "This is a 'Bond villain' who's decarbonizing the world (last time I checked, people on the left like the environment), connecting people, schools, and hospitals in low-income countries to the internet at very low cost, and helping blind people see and interact with the world today. That's a villain?" "And there are so many parts to the $SPCX story. All of the blue-collar workers who've gotten super wealthy. If you're opposed to data centers on Earth, because of the environment? Well, SpaceX is your solution."

Ignoring engagement bro’s like this 🤡, here’s what BoA actually reported last week: ‘Consumer Checkpoint: Sunny days…with total card spending rising 5.1% yoy in May - the strongest growth in nrly four years’! institute.bankofamerica.com/…

Bank of America studied the debit and credit transactions of millions of Americans. The pullback on spending outside of necessities is unlike anything they have ever seen. Domino's said consumers do not even want their $7 carry out pizza. $7. A whole pizza. One of the cheapest food options available. People cannot justify $7 for a pizza. And the administration is saying the economy is fine. Believe Domino's.

The year is 1825. Inequality is surging as industrial expansion begins to boom across the USA. John Jacob Astor, a fur trader and real estate investor becomes the USA's first millionaire. Socialist politicians explode in anger and tell the American public that this inequality is unfair and we need to ban millionaires so this never happens again. Fast forward 200 years - the politicians were ignored. The USA has become the wealthiest country in human history by a huge margin. The median American is wealthier than 90% of the rest of the world. Capitalism won.

Ultimately, I suspect the best long-term #AI bets are (wide) moat/brand co’s that can sustainably increase/multiply operating margins by harnessing AI to take out a substantial % of costs (& enhance revenue opps) AND still maintain & increase their pricing/volumes…

Atreides Management's @gavinsbaker says the bottleneck trade is nearing its end. "That was the game for the last year. The next game is what has enduring franchise value on the other side of these bottlenecks, whenever that is."

Interesting quote/view point from Seth Rogan about how risk adverse studios are in Hollywood today. And how they are particularly hung up on casting but not in a good way. From his June 13 ‘26 interview in the NYT. Good read.

Mike Novogratz: The US has $40T of debt and there's only one way out. "The only way we deal with that debt is to inflate it away. Period. End of story." Run 4% inflation while convincing markets you're targeting 2%. Do that for 10 years and you've erased 30% of real debt. The danger is that people could lose confidence, and 4% becomes 14% or 40% - wiping out debt AND wealth simultaneously. FT @Scaramucci @Novogratz @AllThingsMkts @SkyBridge.

$MSGS vs. $SPHR Love this theory... ...the #Knicks finally won another NBA Championship, after 53 years, because Jim Dolan got distracted with the #Sphere!?! 😆
Members of the Knicks front office partially credit James Dolan "getting distracted" by the Sphere for the team's success in recent years, according to team sources Inside the transformation of the Knicks from dysfunctional to champions

Only thing funnier/dumber than every single shitlib tweeting abt egg prices in 2025... ...is every single shitlib NOT tweeting abt egg prices in 2026! 🤡 Needless to say, we can presume they've learned NOTHING from this egg price trajectory over the last year/two... 😥🙄
BREAKING 🚨: Eggs Egg Prices have now collapsed by more than 97% from their March 2025 all-time high and are now trading at the lowest price in over a decade 🥚📉🥳

BREAKING: Champ, a new fund launched by PE firm L Catterton and 200 professional athletes, made its first investment, putting $50 million in activewear brand Rhoback. Champ wants to raise $500 million to invest in consumer brands and is backed by Dak Prescott, Ja’Marr Chase, and Mike Trout. Athletes can put their own capital into deals rather than getting paid to endorse a product. L Catterton’s largest investor is LVMH.

I'm not saying technical analysis leads the news - well, actually, it often does - but spot Brent now challenging the bottom of this 3 mth old $88-$92 support is looking very promising!? markets.businessinsider.com/…
