I was at the farewell celebration for the @WhatWorksWB this evening. What a legacy you leave behind, what a wonderful team, inspirational Director @Work_Life_You and Board members. It was a pleasure and an honour to journey with you for the first years of the Centre.

This important new research examines the links between social isolation, mental health and wellbeing and physical health using data from our 1958 and 1970 cohorts.
Overall, the greater the level of social isolation, the:
▶️ lower the life satisfaction
▶️ higher the psychological distress
▶️ lower self-rated general health

We analysed 10 @Spiritof2012 creative case studies & found 8 distinct pathways to #wellbeing. Our synthesis approach allowed us to identify multiple pathways to wellbeing & demonstrate the complex way in which projects created benefit.
