For Christmas my Mom framed pin flags from golf courses I’ve worked, interned, or volunteered at since I started in turf at 12. Beyond blessed for all who have given me these opportunities thus far. Grateful for the past, excited for the future.

Successfully defended my master’s thesis today! Beyond thankful for my committee and their support every step of the way. Grateful for all the opportunities I’ve had as a master’s student at Virginia Tech and I’m excited to continue working on a Ph.D at Penn State!

The 310yd par four eighth at Blacksburg CC is one of my favorite holes in golf. Aesthetically, you look past the green as it drops into a valley with mountains surrounding with the famous red barn to the right. Strategically, each bunker determines club selection off the tee.
