It's hard to turn down the opportunity to play on a 19th-century golf course that has hosted two U.S. Opens. Of course, I had to use the ol’ hickory clubs. I’d say Sam Snead used up all the hickory power for kids who grew up in Hot Springs. Thanks to a friendly @pcc1854 member.

I spent the past week traveling Virginia and the DC-Maryland area with USGA Agronomist @GietkaCGCS, visiting golf courses and meeting great superintendents. Excited to work with the USGA again next week at the Philadelphia Cricket Club for the U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship.
