As part of partnerships week, we will quickly talk about our newly restored steam locomotive Agecroft No.3 /Bolton No.1 Her boiler was overhauled by the @nnrailway at Wyebourne.

Today, we're going to focus on one of our home Fleet Steam Engines recently overhauled RSH 7681 Agecroft No.3. Built in 1951 her responsibility was for moving coal. She remained there until the 1980's when she was preserved at MOSI in Manchester.

The L&F contractors Wilkinson & Jarvis provided their infamous 'Large Pavilion' styled station building, providing passengers and staff with an open environment. Sadly this is now the last example of the L&F Large Pavilion in the world.

In 2022 Whitwell & Reepham Station celebrates 140 years since it opened to traffic by the Lynn & Fakenham Railway on the 1st of July 1882. Upon its opening in 1882 Whitwell & Reepham was the first passing place on the Norwich City - Melton Constable line
