Saw a picture today and it reminded me how awesome it is to actually be part of something worth caring about.
In all the years and all the communities Iโve been part of, Iโve never had the urge to attend IRL events or meet people outside of the online space. Ninja Cat gave me something to care about, and the people weโve met along the way have made me proud to know them.
From meeting someone Iโd call one of my best friends, to hanging out with @Lysss302 who set up a beautiful Luncheon for us to meeting @peanutt (I need to find a picture lol) in Miami, to meeting Zack, aka @The_Genie35 aka Dream Cat, in Orlando, itโs been incredibly rewarding to turn online connections into real friendships.
@RealPapii youโre next my man. Weโre too close not to make it happen!
If you ever get the chance to meet good people youโve connected with online, do it. The memories and friendships are worth it.
