Thank you @boblatta and @RepTroyCarter for your leadership in protecting America's Wi-Fi future. Safeguarding unlicensed spectrum requires proactive steps like this to strengthen U.S. leadership and ensure America maintains its competitive edge ahead of WRC-27.
As the United States prepares for the 2027 World Radiocommunication Conference, it is crucial that the U.S. government adopts a clear, coordinated strategy to defend global access to this spectrum. That’s why I introduced the Advancing American Wi-Fi Against Foreign Adversaries Act, a bipartisan bill with @RepTroyCarter, to ensure the United States is ready and speaking with one voice during these high-stakes international negotiations.

America went first on 6 GHz, and everyone else took notice. Six years after the FCC opened the entire 6 GHz band for Wi-Fi, nearly 100 countries have opened a form of it for unlicensed use. The U.S. should continue to set the standard for innovation around the globe.
