On how he found his way to kicking: "I played soccer growing up. I got started in seventh grade. I found a kicking coach. It all worked out good."
On his punting: "I can prostyle it and flip the field to rugby style it and pin them deep. Once I started training with Ryan Rehkow, he got me going. He's a super awesome guy. I see him as someone I want to become."
On Coach Kelly Poppinga: "He really knows what's he doing. He threw a bunch of fakes out there. It's really cool to see them have success."
On what he likes to do off the field: "Just spending time with people. Family, friends. I love to talk with people."
On his family: "It's a crazy bunch. It's awesome to always have someone there with you. [There are] six boys, two girls. I'm the oldest one at home."
On his future LDS mission: "Pennsylvania, Philadelphia [mission]. Reading [the mission call] I was shaking. A few weeks before I opened it we were in Philadelphia. We went to the temple. We were there for two days and explored. It was awesome."
