I would have expected cryptos to reach these prices as Hormuz would wreak havoc on stocks, but we got the former without the latter (yet). It's like when BTC was at the highs and many alts were doing poorly, when BTC turned they did even worse.

So I'd expect the same here, when stocks finally turn as countries restrict petrol and petroleum products this year, cryptos will keep digging further down..

Deep inner suffering inevitably arises when the human person is reduced to performance, consumption, or a statistical datum. Many young people today live under the yoke of expectations to perform, immersed in an exasperated competitiveness that generates anxiety, fear of not measuring up, and disorientation.

June 1st. Hormuz still closed. Current consensus is that the world can cope without Hormuz, but it's reopening this month or the one after anyway so does it really matter ?

my current view is: -Hormuz is *never* coming back as it was, and that various state actors are playing the market like a fiddle. -Most of the public unaware of the danger we're in -Markets won't provide signal, only physical shortages will.

''Don't Look Up'', again.
Trump's latest post on Iran. "It will all work out well in the end - It always does!" That's similar to what Trump told Tucker Carlson before launching the war: “It's going to be OK. Because it always is."

The apparent objectivity of the responses these systems provide can lead us to overlook the fact that they reflect the cultural assumptions of those who designed and trained them.

I'm, if demand destruction there is, it'll be because of: -realized low inventories, not the forecast of them. -government mandates on consumption export restrictions
Replying to @MiloshOffical
Respectfully, you're missing the point. Markets won't allow inventories to reach critical levels -- prices will spike to destroy demand first. That is what market adjustment will look like. JPMorgan forecasts $200/barrel and Brookings forecasts $150/barrel in that scenario.

My view is that if the market has not been able to destroy demand already, then it won't by itself.

🚨Scoop: U.S. and Iran reach deal but need Trump's final approval, two U.S. officials and a regional source involved in the mediation efforts told me. My story on @axios axios.com/2026/05/28/iran-pe…

Iran rejected the Axios report claiming a US-Iran deal has been reached, with an informed source stating it reflects only the US narrative and does not represent Iran's position. en.mehrnews.com/news/244750/So… i24news.tv/en/news/israel…

which way western man?
You think rates are going to blow up the economy, anon? You under estimate the difference it is having a macro hedge fund manager running the Treasury. He knows the game, the stakes and he knows the dials. No one is going to sacrifice the midterms if they can absolutely avoid it... and they will do EVERYTHING possible to win them. Relax. It'll all be fine. Better than fine fine in fact. The liquidity spice is flowing, everything else will be dealt with.
