🚨 VP Vance: Even the Second World War ended with an agreement. Factually: The US demand from both Japan and Nazi Germany was "unconditional surrender". And so it was. Either Vance is lying to sell a horrible deal he made, or he is a total moron and unfit for office

No. The story was not overlooked or buried. Israel immediately informed us the attack happened. There were numerous investigations. The Captain of the USS Liberty was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor. Israel apologized and paid reparations. The truth is, it's just not a big story. It's a tragic story, and no doubt. But it isn't a big story. 34 Americans died on the USS Liberty in 1967. 11,363 Americans died in the jungles of Vietnam in 1967. Friendly Fire is horrific, but not uncommon. There is very little reason for a sixty-year old friendly fire incident to be widely known about, much less widely discussed. For example, that same year, 1967, a US Marine Corp jet attacked a US Army position on Hill 875 in Vietnam, killing 42 American soldiers. 59 years later, not many remember Hill 875, not because it wasn't horrific -- it killed more Americans than the attack on the USS Liberty -- but because it isn't useful as a talking point to implicate the US/Israel relationship. As to the second part of your question, we aren't discussing the USS Liberty today because of new information. We are discussing the USS Liberty today because of old -- even ancient -- grudges.
Replying to @JeremyDBoreing
Jeremy, do you believe this story was overlooked or buried for a period of time? And from a broader perspective, how do you think Israel’s actions and response will be viewed as more information becomes public? Genuinely interested in hearing different perspectives on this.

If you like Russia, fine. Like it. Love it. Live there for all I care. But no, we aren't going to do this gaslighting where you get to lie and claim Russia is a clean, safe, traditionalist Christian paradise. It is quite literally the opposite.

The only thing that stops violent men from raping you and your society are other men who are equally willing to be violent in stopping the rapists. The West has decided that the highest virtue is to quietly comply with the destruction of your civilization because to do otherwise is bigoted toward the rapists. It really is that simple.

This real-time 1948 article from The Economist completely destroys the modern “Nakba” narrative that was invented decades later as political propaganda. Straight from British eyewitnesses in Haifa, October 2, 1948: “Jewish authorities urged all Arabs to remain in Haifa and guaranteed them protection and security ... However, of the 62,000 Arabs who formerly lived in Haifa, not more than 5,000 or 6,000 remained. The most potent factor was the announcements made over the air by the Arab Higher Executive, urging the Arabs to quit ... those who remained and accepted Jewish protection would be regarded as renegades.” They didn’t flee because of “Zionist ethnic cleansing.” They fled because Arab leaders ordered them to get out of the way so their armies could “drive the Jews into the sea.” Then they lost the war they started — and spent the next 77 years rewriting history to blame the Jews. The “Nakba” you were taught? Pure revisionist fiction.
The word “Nakba” (catastrophe) wasn’t invented by Palestinians to describe Jewish “ethnic cleansing.” It was coined in 1948 by a Syrian Arab historian, Constantin Zureiq, in his book The Meaning of the Disaster. He used it to describe the humiliating failure of the Arab world — their leaders’ arrogance, their lies to their own people, their military incompetence, and their refusal to accept a Jewish state. Zureiq wrote that the Arabs had “imaginary victories” and put their public “to sleep” with boasts — until the real disaster hit: they couldn’t wipe out the Jews. The original Nakba wasn’t about refugees. That a rebrand from several decades later. It was about the Arab leaders’ catastrophic decision to launch a war of extermination ... and lose. They’ve spent 77 years rebranding their own failure as Jewish guilt. That’s the only real "Nakba" they can’t forgive.

The “Nakba” was when an Arab paramilitary group led by a former colonel in the Nazi Wehrmacht - with an official emblem featuring a sword stabbing a Jewish Star of David - failed to carry out a second Holocaust against Jews three years after the Nazi Holocaust
Today marks Nakba Day, an annual day of remembrance to commemorate the expulsion of more than 700,000 Palestinians between 1947 and 1949 during the creation of the State of Israel and the year that followed. Inea is a New Yorker and a Nakba survivor. She shared her story with us — one of home, tradition and memory over generations.

After reading this, it’s a miracle of restraint that Israel didn’t just nuke Gaza off the face of the Earth in response to what happened on October 7th.

The Nakba was literally just the day Arabs started a war they’d go on to lose. That’s it. And starting that war included “Palestinians” (not really an identity back then) leaving their homes because they thought they were going to make room for Israel’s destruction.
Denying the Nakba is as disgusting as denying the Holocaust.

Today marks the 46th Anniversary of our attempts to rescue 53 American hostages from the Embassy in Tehran. We tried, but the odds were stacked against us. The details are in my book, but today, I ask you to remember the fallen, the eight brave men we lost during that mission. Recently, Mike Ritland @MRitland asked me if there’s a quote that has significance for me. I paraphrased one from Ernest Hemingway: “It’s said that a warrior dies two deaths, the first on the battlefield, the second the last time their name is spoken.” I’m honored to say their names. 1st SOW Air Force personnel that was killed:  MAJ Richard L. Bakke, age 34, Long Beach, CA, MAJ Harold L. “Hal” Lewis, Jr., age 35, Mansfield, CT, MAJ Lyn D. McIntosh, age 33, Valdosta, GA, CAPT Charles T. McMillan II, age 28, Corrytown, TN, and Tech. Sgt. Joel C. Mayo, age 34, Bonifay, FL.  Marine Air Group 26, Marine personnel that were killed:  SSgt Dewey L. Johnson, age 31, Jacksonville, NC, SGT John D. Harvey, age 21, Roanoke, VA, and CPL George N. Holmes, Jr., age 22, Pine Bluff, AR.

Over the past 78 years, nothing in the world has risen in price as much as Jewish blood. It used to be really, really cheap. Now it's really, really expensive. And that is a reason to celebrate.

Huh. Fully operational IRBMs. I guess President Trump and U.S. defense officials had access to information regarding Iran's missile capabilities that was not available to leftwing tankies, New Right dipshits, and journalists.
Iran fired a pair of intermediate-range ballistic missiles at Diego Garcia, a joint U.S.-UK base in the Indian Ocean. One missile failed in flight, and another was engaged by a US Navy destroyer using an SM-3 missile.

You know one reason gun owners get upset at new gun laws? Because the ones that are common sense that we support universally don't get enforced. He got off for THREE straw purchases with an APOLOGY LETTER. AN APOLOGY LETTER.
BREAKING: DOJ has charged a Virginia man with illegally selling the gun used by ODU terrorist Mohamed Jalloh. According to the federal complaint, Kenya Chapman sold a .22 caliber Glock 44 pistol to Jalloh for $100 this week. He admitted he first stole it from a vehicle in Newport News, VA a year ago. Additionally, DOJ says Chapman was the subject of an ATF investigation in 2021 after he straw purchased three firearms that were later recovered from crime scenes, including a homicide. Chapman admitted to the illegal straw purchases (when you buy a gun and falsely claim its for yourself when you intend to sell it or give it to someone else), but the Biden DOJ declined to prosecute him. Instead, Chapman was given a warning, and he signed an apology letter. According to the federal complaint, Jalloh, who was convicted of providing support to ISIS and had been released from prison early after just 7 years, was visited at his Virginia home by his US probation officer every 6 months. The probation officer's last visit to Jalloh's home in Sterling, VA, was November 17th, 2025. Additionally, according to the federal complaint, the evening before Jalloh carried out the terrorist attack at ODU, his phone was tracked in the vicinity of the Islamic Center of Hampton, VA.

WTF is wrong with you? After a day like today, we need unity, not more hatred and division.
