Thank you from us to everyone for their assistance as we responded to approximately 620 incidents relating to #StormEunice yesterday.
There was a real sense of community spirit as emergency services, both councils and even members of the public all played a key role.

Please only phone 999 if there is an immediate risk to safety such as a fallen live power cable.
You can report trees fallen on to a major road to @HighwaysSWEST and on local roads to your local authority.

We are hoping for a win for #England tonight , but we ask people’s of Wiltshire and BaNES to act sensibly and to only call 999 if you have a life threatening emergency. Our teams are really busy currently and it is essential that we are free for genuine emergencies.
