Yeah our datalogger demo dashboard is online 😍 This is a first proof of concept of the datalogger receiving 'important' 😝 weather data from our #ecowitt WS80 via RF 868 and sending it via MQTT to the dashboard! Have a look here: v.gd/dashboard

Last weekend we had our workshop on the Windkit datalogger 😊 The datalogger was assembled and tested. There are still some bugs to be fixed and the code is not ready yet, but a big step has been taken. Thanks goes out to the @GOSHCommunity for funding this event ✨

We finished our securitybox prototype! The box will take care of #windkit and continuously check the rotational speed of the rotor. If at high winds a certain threshold is reached the securitybox will short circuit the alternator and therefore slow down the rotor for safety!

Wind datalogger prototyping: For measuring wind speed and direction we use the wireless WS80 from Fine Offset Electronics. Finally we receive a signal and thanks to the folks of rtl_433 and @chzu we are able to decode the payload!
