Winter Fest spirit was in full flow in the DT Department this week, with students creating Memphis Group inspired clocks. Students designed their own clocks using acrylics and adhesive, broadening their knowledge of Bauhaus and Memphis design styles. #Engage #Elevate

Winter Fest theme - ‘Engage & Elevate’, focusing upon enriching curriculum experiences. Alongside our fantastic Astronomy sessions, @360xperiences provided a mobile planetarium for some students to experience. Thank you Friends of Woking High School for funding this activity.

Winter Fest-Y10 took part in alternative sports-flag football, tchoukball, boxercise & pickleball to broaden their physical education experience & encourage lifelong participation in diverse activities. Sports promote teamwork, skill development & fitness in fun, inclusive ways.

‘Engage and Elevate’. In History, students participated in a workshop where they designed Medieval Castles. Brilliant creativity was presented, students used maths skills to purchase castle parts, whilst also developing their design skills in the creation of medieval structures.
