By the Grace of Allah, Alhumdulilah successfully we have done another food donation to homeless shelter @YorkRoadProject
33kg of items were donated included Tinned fruits and Vegetables, Cereals, tinned Soups, Beans, pasta, juice, squash etc.
A lovely gentleman called Neil Cheetham wanted to do something to raise money for our Charity, he has been able to find a venue for a 3 course meal and music @ChobhamGC on the 31st of May 2024. #charityevent#dinner

In order to help change the system, we first need to hear from those affected by the system. Their voices can help create the change as they are experiencing homelessness, addiction, trauma, mental health & much more.
These sessions empower our clients to be part of the change.

Their December PR Scheme was based on ‘the gift of giving’. Their residents, staff, and visitors were asked to donate food and personal items and they chose our Charity to support.

We feel in contrast people that do not have a safe and comfortable home need our support, everyone gave very generously, and we are very proud of the support that everyone gave to this campaign. We would hope to continue to support this very worthy cause in the future.''
The chef team at Charrington Manor will also provide a cold buffet for our client Christmas Party this Wednesday. Karen at Charrington explained ''We have a lovely home at Charrington Manor where our residents are well looked after in a safe and comfortable environment.
In addition to the generous donations from everyone collected over the last few weeks they also gave each of the service users in our a £10.00 voucher to spend at either Tesco or Morrisons.

We're proud to support @YorkRoadProject this Christmas. Students raised £900 through non-uniform day donations, a fantastic achievement! @YorkRoadProject is a local charity supporting those facing homelessness in the Woking area, helping people to rebuild their lives.
