The general logic of black Americans is well-expressed here.
Social interactions are generally a low-grade conflict of imposition and escalation. There's no mutual respect or deference. It's solely about who can impose the most on other people.
If they can be loud or obnoxious and no one says anything, that's a win. If someone says something then they must respond louder and more aggressively. If that person doesn't escalate to violence then it is, again, a win.
Whomever imposes and/or escalates the most is the winner. Karmelo Anthony, whether or not he goes to jail, is "the winner" because he escalated the most.
Any pushback against escalation or imposition is deemed disrespect or as this man describes is "trying his manhood."
This mindset is, of course, incompatible with social harmony because if universalized, would produce constant conflict.
Karmelo Anthony did exactly what any black man should do if somebody trying his manhood 💯. He gone beat this case and walk away a free man. Teach yall kids to keep that racism shit up their ass cause this ain’t back in the day. Instead of everybody just getting alone and building a better world we still got clowns who except racism rather they be White, Latino, Black Americans, Asian, Indian, or African.
