Just a reminder - Cadillac Desert: The American West and Its Disappearing Water by Marc Reisner remains a highly relevant and important book. I'm revisiting this book now as I revise my debut novel, GRIEF CAMP, which will be published by SFWP on September 14, 2027.

On Sunday, I saw The Fear of 13 on Broadway. What a powerful and important play! Afterwards, my friend and I had the honor of meeting Nick Yarris (the story is about how he was convicted and sentenced to death for a crime he didn’t commit and served 22 years on death row)!

For @broadstreview Book Week, I had the pleasure of reviewing The Grief Shop and Other Stories from a Broken World by Alex DiFrancesco. This powerful new book, a linked collection of speculative short stories, offers a cathartic escape and is a surreal exploration of humanity.
