#Eurosatory2026
SCILT is a close-range active protection system that uses standard shotgun cartridges loaded with buckshot to counter FPV drones.
SCILT can operate with support from external drone detection sensors (via optronics, radar, or image recognition), or in a fully autonomous mode using the sensors and effectors installed directly on the modules themselves. The system is designed to protect against both single drones and drone swarms attacking from multiple directions. The photo shows two types of protective modules — one for the side aspects and one for the front/rear of combat vehicles.
Btvt.info: … Such systems have been repeatedly proposed by various developers, but to date no real practical results have been presented proving their effectiveness in protecting a moving combat vehicle.
