We were sitting at the table, speaking with complete freedom and without restrictions or lowering our voices. We talked freely about politics, about the authorities freely, about their flaws, efforts, work, and successes. We talked freely about religious matters, about state-building freely, and about mistakes freely. We all believe the country is still not yet as we dream it to be, and we all want to see it at the top and strive for that. We were sitting in the middle of the city, our voices loud, with no fear of an intelligence officer listening in on us, and no security patrol ruining our mood. We were happy with our freedom. Every person sitting at that table is doing tremendous work in their own way to help rebuild the country. No one came and wrote a report on us. No one sabotaged things for us. No one ended up in prison or behind bars. No one interfered with us, and no one stopped us from speaking. The country is doing well… or at least the country is on the right path. And whoever tells you nothing has changed… you can put whatever you want in their mouth. The country is exhausted and coming out of the operating room… but the country will be more than fine. Praise be to God. Praise be to God. A thousand praises be to God. We are living a dream, guys.”
