Thank you to all who attended our annual Scarborough quiz!
A special thanks must go to Ben Cliff, Will Luxton and Brad Sylvester for spending their evening with us after a day in the field to form a team (assisted by @miketaylorsport), and their opposition the Southern Group.

It was a closely-fought battle but the players prevailed in the end!
As always, it was a pleasure to have @JonathanDoidge hosting the quiz, assisted by scorer @DutchBKate and buzzer adjudicator @dt_oldchap, with the questions provided by Ben and Charlotte from the Association.

I hope everyone is looking forward to today's double header as part of Blast "rivals week". Our Kabin will be open as usual before the Durham game and in between games, with scorecards and souvenirs available to purchase. Good luck @YorkshireCCC !

On Saturday 13th June, we will be hosting our annual quiz in the Marquee @ScarboroCricket
7:30PM for an 8PM start, teams representing @YorkshireCCC & @WarwickshireCCC, with an interval quiz for everyone and a cash bar.
Admission on door £2.50

During the Sussex match, we presented George Hill with Men's Player of the Year 2025, James Wharton with Champagne Moment for his catch at @ScarboroCricket, and Matthew Revis and Ben Coad with Outstanding Performance for their partnership against Essex @York_C_C Congratulations!

At the @YorkshireCCC Members' Forum on Saturday, we were able to present our cheques to the Club, two £1500 donations to the mens' and womens' squad. These donations will be spent on booking flights/accomodation for younger senior pros playing cricket overseas this coming winter.

Once again, many thanks for @YorkshireCCC Academy players and their coaches for attending our yearly meeting with them. As ever, the Academy players spoke very well about their current cricketing journey and aspirations, and fielded our members' questions astutely.

We look forward to checking in on how the Academy teams get on during the summer and hope for many moments of individual brilliance.
We also presented our annual £750 cheque to the Academy for their sole use on equipment or however else they see fit.

Our final meeting of the winter will be held next Wednesday 8th April at 19:00, when we will meet with a few @YorkshireCCC academy players and their coaches. This meeting has consistently proven to be a highlight in our winter programme and we look forward to welcoming everyone
