Saw @thepatwalls tweet an idea. Built it in 8 days. Now he's gonna be our first beta user ๐Ÿคฉ You can just do things.

Here's an app that needs to exist: GOOGLE ANALYTICS FOR CONTENT - A dashboard where you can see how all your content has done over the last day, week, etc. - Works across your dozens of accounts and platforms e.g. YouTube, IG, X, Threads, etc - Ability to see what's working and not, maybe an AI layer on top This is probably really hard bc of the greedy tech companies and their protected APIs. But it needs to exist.

ASA: paused ad campaigns for #1 app, running it for #2 where I'm getting good numbers. Conversion is also an issue in the #2 app. Depending on weekly renewals I may be profitable there, but it's not ideal and I have to get the number app. It's freemium right now, and I got couple ideas on how to do it besides hard paywall.

Ads update: kinda happy about the CPA, a lot better than before which was around $5 I think But conversions is still the issue. I tried changing the onboarding, fixing prices, adding exit offer, hard paywall Have to get some more data before drawing in conclusions but it's tough to get it to convert well.

Another point about MRR is that two $10 weekly plans get me to $80 MRR. I kinda don't believe that people will stick for that long. Weekly MRR inflation is real

MRR posts like these get attention, even though they're kinda meaningless! For example, behind this MRR post there is: - $500 in FB Ad Spend - $200 in ASA So if I spent $700 to make $150, can I truly call it a success? Obviously no, but I still celebrate wins like this because it shows me that there is demand, and that people are willing to pay People like @seraleev spent months mastering an ad channel to get it to be profitable, I'm willing to do the same, and I learned a ton by just doing it instead of reading endlessly about it Anyways I'm working now to get my funnels to convert so I can profit, sharing about the process here, my point is - profit is what matters, not MRR.

just noticed my 2 apps crossed to $100 MRR ๐Ÿ˜ฎ a month ago I wasn't even in this apps game, crazy how fast things change when you work on the right things (marketing) can see myself getting to $10k MRR and beyond

more about my experience with trials: out of like 10 trials I got from ads, 3 of them didn't cancel, but none converted because all failed due to billing error

2 conversions. getting hope!

Day 1 of running ads again Happy with CPI, but I removed trial and got 0 conversions. Spent $22 today, probably need more data before concluding what the problem is because 1-2 conversions can get me to be profitable But from the early testing it seems like I need to convert better if I want to make it profitable

resuming ads now after: - improving onboarding - adding a feature that I highlighted in the onboarding - localizing paywall (my dumbass forgot so basically all non US ads are meaningless) - removing trials let's see how it works

Feeling this right now I'm removing free trials

No, I mean literally put it behind a hard paywall and see what happens. If it doesnโ€™t work, just add it back. Running paid ads to a free trial is the worst, because youโ€™re spending money without collecting any money upfront, and most of those customers will probably cancel before theyโ€™re ever charged
