En la dirección de nuestro Partido, Estado, Gobierno y sus instituciones militares, nadie tiene activo o propiedad que proteger bajo jurisdicción estadounidense.
El gobierno de EE.UU lo sabe de sobra, tanto es así que ni siquiera hay evidencia que presentar. La retórica anticubana del odio trata de hacer creer que existen para justificar la escalada de su guerra económica total.
Por eso sí seguiremos denunciando, de la manera más firme y enérgica el cerco genocida que busca estrangular a nuestro pueblo.
Es inmoral, ilegal y criminal la orden ejecutiva que persigue y amenaza a terceros que quieran vender combustible a #Cuba y la que extraterritorializa el #bloqueo a niveles nunca vistos, penalizando a empresas que quieran invertir en Cuba o simplemente nos provean de bienes básicos como alimentos, medicamentos, aseos u otros.
El castigo colectivo al que están sometiendo al pueblo cubano es un acto de genocidio que debe ser condenado por organismos internacionales y encausar penalmente a sus promotores.

Por primera vez, el gobierno de #EEUU formaliza de manera pública, mediante un comunicado del Departamento de Estado, un ofrecimiento de ayuda a #Cuba valorado en 100 millones de dólares.
Sigue sin aclararse si será ayuda en efectivo o material, y si se destinará a las necesidades más urgentes del momento para el pueblo, como combustibles, alimentos y medicinas.
De todas maneras, aun tomando en cuenta la incongruencia de la aparente generosidad de parte de quien somete al pueblo cubano a un castigo colectivo por medio de la guerra económica, el gobierno cubano no tiene como práctica rechazar ayuda extranjera que se ofrece de buena fe y con fines genuinos de cooperación, ya sea bilateral o multilateral.
Tampoco tiene inconvenientes en trabajar con la Iglesia Católica, con cuyo esfuerzo de cooperación tiene una experiencia larga y positiva de trabajo conjunto.
Estamos dispuestos a escuchar las características del ofrecimiento y la manera en que se materializaría.
Esperamos que sea libre de maniobras políticas e intentos de aprovechar las carencias y el dolor de un pueblo bajo asedio.
La mejor ayuda que en este y en cualquier momento podría dar el gobierno de los EEUU al noble pueblo cubano es desescalar las medidas del bloqueo energético, económico, comercial y financiero, recrudecido como nunca antes en los últimos meses, lo cual afecta severamente a todos los sectores de la economía y sociedad cubana.

A #US military aggression against #Cuba will generate a true humanitarian catastrophe, a bloodbath. Both Cuban and US citizens would lose their lives, something which only the politicians who do not send their children and relatives to the war are betting on.
There isn't the least reason, not even the least pretext for a superpower such as the United States to launch a military attack against a small island that does not pose any threat, only because it is the mere aspiration of a few to change its political system or its government.
