Steep unmowable verges can be fantastic spots for a diverse range of wildflowers, feeding a diverse range of pollinating insects. Diverse plantlife also means good carbon storage, doing your bit for climate change...or you could just drape a #ShitLawn over it of course!

I found a second Long-tailed Tit nest earlier this week that allowed me to get a fresh perspective on their nest building activities. Just look how they use those little feet to stretch the nest pocket out!
