Web3 gaming isn't "cooked,"
It's just shedding the parts that were never about players in the first place.
When Haseeb jokes about "300 daily users but it's okay they're buying the land," he's describing a metaverse era where speculation mattered more than whether anyone actually wanted to hang out there. Yooldo is deliberately building for the opposite outcome:
less empty land, more real players, real games, and on-chain economies that make sense even if nobody is flipping JPEGs that day.
Web3 Gaming is so cooked.
Haseeb, managing partner at Dragonfly, said that the fundamental crypto things work, but not the "other stuff".
"There was not users showing us that we want to hang out in Decentraland."
"only 300 daily users... it's okay they're buying the land."
