Our Yorkshire Academy work in exactly the same way.
The development of the referees has been measurable
We don't just appoint our Refs to games, we coach, mentor and develop them into being the BEST they can be.
We have a team of Match Official coaches who are appointed to games also to watch and review the referee. We use video footage to review back the match
