After a 36 hour marathon at the Capitol, the 2026 legislative session has come to a close! It’s an honor to be your advocate at the table, and is even more special that I get to serve alongside my “brother” Rep. @larrymcburney . And now we head home to sleep!

14 hours of debate later (11pm) & House Appropriations just met for *hopefully* the last time this session to discuss the shell Standings bill. This means NO transparency on one of the most important bills the taxpayers fund. We’re fighting it because Iowans deserve transparency!
