बड़े शॉपिंग मॉल के सामने खड़ी छोटी-छोटी दुकानों को बंद होना ही पड़ता है।
भाजपा सरकार के बनाए हर ‘कॉरिडोर’ और ‘चौड़ीकरण’ की योजना के पीछे जो घपला-घोटाला है, उसके लिए एक बहुसदस्यी न्यायिक जाँच हो। इसमें संलिप्त न कोई ट्रस्टी बख़्शा जाए, न किसी कमेटी का कोई सदस्य और न ही कोई प्रशासनिक और विकास प्राधिकरण का अधिकारी। इतने बड़े घोटाले इन सबकी मिलीभगत से ही होते हैं। पिछले कुछ सालों में इन कामों से जो भी जुड़ा रहा है और जिन पदाधिकारियों और अधिकारियों ने मुख्य-मुख्य भूमिका निभाई है, उनकी ग़ैरक़ानूनी तरीक़े से कमाई गयी काली संपत्ति व अकूत धन-संपदा की भी जाँच आम जनता, ईमानदार पत्रकारों व बहुदलीय जनप्रतिनिधियों की निगरानी में हो।

एक आदमी अगर यह कहे कि उसे प्रसव पीड़ा का अनुभव है, तो वह झूठ बोलता है। वह संवेदनशील हो सकता है, लेकिन असली प्रसव का दर्द एक औरत ही समझ सकती है। उसी तरह बंटवारे का दर्द पाकिस्तान से आए हिंदू ही समझ सकते हैं, यहाँ रहे लोग नहीं।

Possible uses for mangoes:
Mango candy, mango pickles, canned mango pulp, mango chutney, mango jam, mix real mangoes in desserts such as ice cream, mousse, or cheesecake.
Slice and freeze them for later use.
Make aamras or fresh mango juice.
Dry the pulp to make aam papad.

This benefits big tech, seed/pesticide corporations, and supply chain giants while marginalizing smallholders.

अलीगढ़ नाम 18वीं शताब्दी में पड़ा। पहले शहर का नाम कोल/कोइल (Koil/Kol) था, बाद में रामगढ़।
नाम "अली" (उच्च/ऊँचा — Arabic/Persian से) "गढ़" (fort) से बना, यानी "उच्च किला" या "अली का किला" (Najaf Khan या Maratha governor Najaf Ali Khan के नाम पर)।
कोई संस्कृत संबंध नहीं। यह मुगल-मराठा काल की देन है।

Staying in Kamla Nagar in the '90s was pure fun. Hanging out on Bungalow Road, walking around without a destination, and playing endless games of cricket in the KMC and Ramjas grounds.
