I want to paint this picture, since there's a fair few that will be revisionaries and say Arnold sucked always. Terrion Arnold was my CB2 and my 11th overall ranked player in 2024, I adored him. Brice Pollock is my CB4. That is how good these corners are this year.

This guy was arguably the most talented football player I saw in my life when I was watching Calvin Johnson the same year destroy the receiving yards record. Such an enormously gifted player, I wish it could’ve been different for you Aldon. Rest in peace legend.
Former NFL veteran Aldon Smith has died, the #49ers have announced. Horribly sad.

This dude showed up with a literal torn hamstring bro. I don't know if I'll find another athlete with this level of pain tolerance in my lifetime. Great piece by Eric here, thanks for helping shed light on such a confusing time as a fan.

It really makes me happy seeing Lucas get hype. I get that everything is unpadded with low contact right now, but Lucas I thought should go fringe day 2 honestly. He became one of my guys because his profile was so negatively received in spaces, so this brings a smile to me.

Ashton Hampton... weird player. Big bodied, long armed corner who is phenomenal in run support but lacks press-man prowess? I struggle to understand this profile to be honest, he's stuck in this constant grey area and I can't peg him to any scheme he'd sustain himself in.

Kelley Jones is such a weird prospect for nothing but good reasons. Rare size and length, plus athleticism and great press man work. Stiff hips (per usual of tall corners) and subpar zone work leave much to be desired of him, but I would guarantee he blows up the combine.

Zabien Brown is the most Lions type corner I've seen in a long time, arguably way more so than Terrion was coming out. Elite presser, wicked athlete, phenomenal tackler, big game producer; I find it impossible to believe he's not circled in red already in Allen Park.

Just finished up with Jyaire Hill. He's very much the Lions type in terms of playstyle. Great size, great athlete, great length; needs to tackle better and obviously prove that incident in 24 is behind him. He was a sleeper for me last year, hope to see more progress there.

Falling behind on reports lately, I’ve had barely any free time last few days. Tomorrow I will grade out and get settled with Jyaire Hill, Zabien Brown and Kelley Jones. Trying to keep myself up to doing 1 per day.

This is the most performative thing I think I’ve ever seen an athlete do in quite a while to be honest lol.

No it’s probably 16th man. Maybe lower.
Right now Baker Mayfield is the 16th-highest paid QB in the league. No matter where you have him ranked, I'd bet it's better than 16.

Had to happen at some point but to be honest the way this team falls flat yearly, at some point you gotta look at player leadership as a cause also. Best of luck in your endeavors Dylan, wherever that may be.

Looks like complete ass, congrats!

I’m all for Caleb Williams as the Madden cover, but my God this shit is ass. How fucking uncreative can you possibly be? ChatGPT did this in 12 seconds, you’re telling me we couldn’t have some graphic designers on payroll do better than a stock photo of Caleb? Do better.

Okay, so there definitely is a gap between Moore and Robinson, so I'm rescinding that comment about Robinson being the top corner I'll find, however the fact that a talent like Ellis Robinson IV is NOT the best corner in his class makes me think it's a special year for the group.

I really hope Junior doesn't own a car wash at any point in his life then.

Just finished up my Ellis Robinson report and I gotta be honest, it's gonna be hard for me to take him down from CB1 where he stands. I've only graded out 3 guys currently but Ellis is so far ahead of Peal and Sharpe to me that I don't see how anyone tops this right now lol.
Cam Coleman vs. Ellis Robinson IV - 2 targets - 1 catch - 5 receiving yards - 0 TDs - 1 pass breakup Potential 1st round picks in 2026:

There are obvious lumps here; lack of genuinely good press-man tape, extremely lean build, not the most supreme athlete you're gonna find, but the technician aspect here, and production really is downright elite. 4 picks and 7 PBUs on only 35 targets is crazy productive.

Yeah the 3 time first team all pro at age 25 is not “generational”. Okay bro. 👍
