There is an old saying "God made man, Smith and Wesson made them equal" A gun will allow a weak old lady to defend herself against a 300 pound thug, trying to rob her. Or a government that has decided to alter the rules and laws without her consent. It is self defense, plain and simple. We believe that everyone has the right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. Your right to life is meaningless unless you also have a right to protect and defend that right, whether it is against criminals, or a tyrannical government.

If I got laid off tomorrow & had to replace my salary asap, here’s exactly what I’d do: 1. Go to Instagram and start a fresh account. Use a spare email. No one has to know.

This may seem like "woo woo" nonsense but if you want to alter the world around you, then you need to do this: Everyday for the past 3 month I've written in cursive the story of my future self. I write over and over that I already have the life I want want. More clients, more income, more success. And guess what? Everything I write freaking happens. Do with this information what you want, but there is something powerful behind scripting your own future.

The RUDEST thing you can do is make someone feel dramatic or stupid for expressing their excitement about something that doesn't interest you..

This article was written by a 26 yr old college student by the name of Alyssa Ahlgren, who's in grad school for her MBA. What a GREAT perspecitve..👍🏽 My Generation Is Blind to the Prosperity Around Us! I'm sitting in a small coffee shop near Nokomis (Florida) trying to think of what to write about. I scroll through my newsfeed on my phone looking at the latest headlines of presidential candidates calling for policies to "fix" the so-called injustices of capitalism. I put my phone down and continue to look around. I see people talking freely, working on their MacBook's, ordering food they get in an instant, seeing cars go by outside, and it dawned on me. We live in the most privileged time in the most prosperous nation and we've become completely blind to it. Vehicles, food, technology, freedom to associate with whom we choose. These things are so ingrained in our American way of life we don't give them a second thought. We are so well off here in the United States that our poverty line begins 31 times above the global average. Thirty One Times!!! Virtually no one in the United States is considered poor by global standards. Yet, in a time where we can order a product off Amazon with one click and have it at our doorstep the next day, we are unappreciative, unsatisfied, and ungrateful. ?? Our unappreciation is evident as the popularity of socialist policies among my generation continues to grow. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently said to Newsweek talking about the millennial generation, "An entire generation, which is now becoming one of the largest electorates in America, came of age and never saw American prosperity." Never saw American prosperity! Let that sink in. When I first read that statement, I thought to myself, that was quite literally the most entitled and factually illiterate thing I've ever heard in my 26 years on this earth. Many young people agree with her, which is entirely misguided. My generation is being indoctrinated by a mainstream narrative to actually believe we have never seen prosperity. I know this first hand, I went to college, let's just say I didn't have the popular opinion, but I digress. Why then, with all of the overwhelming evidence around us, evidence that I can even see sitting at a coffee shop, do we not view this as prosperity? We have people who are dying to get into our country. People around the world destitute and truly impoverished. Yet, we have a young generation convinced they've never seen prosperity, and as a result, we elect some politicians who are dead set on taking steps towards abolishing capitalism. Why? The answer is this,?? my generation has only seen prosperity. We have no contrast. We didn't live in the great depression, or live through two world wars, the Korean War, The Vietnam War or we didn't see the rise and fall of socialism and communism. We don't know what it's like to live without the internet, without cars, without smartphones. We don't have a lack of prosperity problem. We have an entitlement problem, an ungratefulness problem, and it's spreading like a plague."

Move like the universe is already conspiring in your favour….because it is. Everything is unfolding exactly as it needs to. Trust the timing. Keep walking with quiet certainty. The path is clearing, the pieces are aligning, and the outcome is already working itself out in ways more beautiful than you can currently see. Your only job is to move forward with that knowing in your heart. Gracefully. Unshaken. Whole.

I almost died in a youth group trip to whitewater rapids. I fell beneath the raft. A kayaking guide pulled me out of the water by my swimsuit. While under there my life flashed before my eyes. I’ll never forget it.

Beach vacations with extended family are so good for the soul. A little awkward after not seeing each other for many months and then just laughing and goofing around. So thankful.

ADHD. Autism. How can so many people have it? What benefit is there to being diagnosed. I believe I have ADD for sure, don’t see a need to pursue it medically tho. Does it make it easier?

“The road to hell is paved with good intentions.” Growing up, this was preached at me often. The interpretation of it was up to me. What i got from it is guilt. So much guilt.

I get stressed out before my therapy appts because i feel like i need to prepare and know what i want to talk about. Im already overwhelmed in my life and this just adds to my stress.

I told my therapist i decided i wasnt going to prepare ahead of time anymoreand she was visibly surprised and taken aback. She adjusted and started asking me questions. But people… i feel like i ticked off my therapist. Thats a whole new level of guilt to deal with!

My nervous system might finally be relaxing at least a notch. Lately Ive noticed more details that should have been obvious for years. A ring i wear often has 2 tiny stones in the band. The sleeves of my shirt are a slightly different gray pattern than the rest.

Seems small but i keep noticing things like that. Im slowing down and more aware of my surroundings, instead of just hurrying through and feeling all tense. Well for some things. Ha. Like i said, its a start.

#928 of things nobody told me about menopause: You’ll apply vaginal estrogen about as often as you apply chapstick. 💀
