Over the past several days, videos of me from when I was 15 years old have been recirculated online, and posts have been made referencing those videos in an attempt to define me by actions from over a decade ago. Let me be clear: some of the things I said and did at that age were immature, stupid, and wrong. I regret them. I’m not going to make excuses for behavior that I myself look back on and wish I could take back. What I will say is that those videos are now 11 years old. In the years since, I’ve grown up, built a career, gotten married to my amazing husband Santiago, become involved in my community, and dedicated myself to public service. I am not the same person I was at 15, and I would hope others would not want to be judged forever by mistakes they made as children. Unfortunately, some people have chosen not only to recirculate those old videos, but also to spread rumors and false claims about my household, my family, and my personal life. Those claims are simply not true. I take responsibility for my past. What I will not accept is the idea that a person’s entire life should be defined by mistakes they made as a teenager, nor will I allow falsehoods to go unchallenged. This campaign should be about the future of District 43, the issues facing our communities, and the solutions we can bring to Columbus. I will be staying committed to this campaign and to earning your support based on the person I am today, not the teenager I was 11 years ago.

As we approach the next State Central Committee meeting, I want to thank our current leadership team for their dedication to the Libertarian Party of Ohio. I ask my fellow SCC members to consider the team I have asked to help lead us. No matter the outcome, our future is bright.

Northwest Ohio deserves more than politicians who go to Columbus to vote with their party. Our communities need representatives who fight for local priorities, not party leadership. Columbus should hear our voice, not just count another party-line vote.

Statement on the Disaffiliation of LPNH “The resolution to disaffiliate the Libertarian party of New Hampshire was the unfortunate culmination of years of behavior in violation of the Libertarian Party’s platform,” said new LNC Chair Evan McMahon. “These violations reached an impasse, and the previous Libertarian National Committee was unable to reach an armistice with the LPNH. One of my top priorities coming into office was to make it clear that the LNC will adhere to the platform and determine who we will associate with based on those grounds.” Language from the Motion to Disaffiliate LPNH The bylaws are clear that affiliate Parties shall not endorse the candidate of another Party. Despite this, the Libertarian Party of New Hampshire openly and publicly endorsed President Trump during the election in 2024. Furthermore, they have crudely and repeatedly undermined our own candidates and have espoused numerous anti-libertarian positions on a National level. Be it Resolved that because of these reasons and more, the Libertarian National Committee moves to disaffiliate the Libertarian Party of New Hampshire, mandating that they cease and desist the use of the Party name and logo, until such a time as the LNC recognizes a new affiliate in New Hampshire that shares our Party’s foundational values.

The newly elected Libertarian National Committee has voted to disaffiliate the Libertarian Party of New Hampshire. The vote was 15 in favor, two opposed, and one abstention. More details to come.
