Technically, I'd avoid a rewrite unless the architecture is fundamentally broken. Refactoring an existing codebase preserves business logic, reduces regression risk, and is usually faster than rebuilding from scratch.

I agree that we should build stronger communities and do more to support Nigerian creatives. At the same time, I don't think being from Nigeria is always the deciding factor.
It’s time we start speaking up and building stronger communities for creatives.
Too many talented people are losing opportunities simply because they say they’re from Nigeria.
That shouldn’t be our reality.
We need to support each other, raise the standard, and change the narrative so where we’re from doesn’t work against us.

I've worked with foreign tech companies, and in my experience, the quality of your work, communication, and consistency can outweigh where you're from. Bias exists, but so do opportunities. We should fight the stereotypes while also raising the standard.

I mean... yeah, tech is more crowded now than it used to be. But I don't think that means it's saturated. Tons of people start, but not many stick with it long enough to keep learning, building, and creating things people actually use. Standing out still comes down to what you do
