Built with @ZapparApp Mattercraft, I created a small "time-travel" AR experience that transforms a modern Japanese community park into an imagined Showa-era alternative. Through a portal, the surroundings become interactive, letting you observe fictional "people from back in the day" standing in the exact same location. It’s purely fiction, but I loved exploring the concept. I used a photo of the area to generate a World Labs Gaussian Splat model for the portal environment, then captured the place from multiple angles to generate short video moments of what everyday life might have looked like in that era. #XR #WorldLabs #Zappar #AR #GaussianSplat #Japan
