I first invested in zcash:native around $200 and I have the same feeling now at $400
Back then the volume was low much like now with the rest of the crypto market.

Zcash is tracking at 15x below Bitcoin price at the same issuance, and 5x below in volume.
I would not jump to the conclusion that high volume means price will go higher. Claude did an analysis for me and spikes in volume often *precede* price declines.
One new addition to this chart is relative search volume from Google Trends. Both coins had notable peaks around 16.3-16.4M coins issued.
That coincidence is striking, but it's worth calling out that trends is relative volume, and the Bitcoin search volume may have been higher overall even though both coins had the same sized spike.
My hunch is that Zcash adoption will rhyme but not repeat the Bitcoin one. I personally would like to see it be driven more by adoption than by speculation.

Thanks for sharing. We removed Coinbase purchase option because they changed their integration such that they could track IP addresses. We are considering alternatives. Most require KYC.
You are able to acquire ZEC through Zodl from USDC, UST, BTC, etc. using swaps.

Some personal news: Today is my last day at @KuruExchange.
Over the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of helping grow Kuru from an idea into an integral part of the Monad ecosystem. Along the way, we surpassed $2B in mainnet trading volume, built an amazing community, and made many real friendships I hope will last a lifetime.

Mythos found no serious bugs in $ZEC empirically.
3 teams are formally verifying the circuit mathematically.
The convergence of empirical clearance and mathematical proof of correctness, when both are complete, the security argument is essentially closed.

Thanks, Anthropic, for helping protect Zcash users. At Shielded Labs’s request, they ran a security audit of Zcash with Mythos. It did not find any more serious bugs in the Zcash protocol. Shielded Labs and others are continuing security hardening work. Stay tuned for updates.

The Zcash Bull Case
Wrapping up my $ZEC series, here is the full bull case in one post. 🐂👇
1) Same 21M cap, same PoW, same halvings as Bitcoin, with the one property BTC structurally cannot add: cryptographic privacy.
2) The shielded pool is a structural supply sink, now above 30% of circulating supply, up 400% in 18 months, and the holders inside don't sell.
3) The only asset that solves all three hard asset properties simultaneously: store of value, privacy, and cross boarder portability.
4) Shielded ZEC is already quantum-recoverable, with full post-quantum transition on track for 2027.
5) Winner-take-most Schelling point for private money. Every coin shielded strengthens the anonymity set for everyone, compounding the network effect.
6) A 1-5% rotation of serious BTC and ETH whale capital would already be massively bullish at current market cap.
7) $25M raise led by Paradigm and a16z, with Multicoin, Balaji, and the Winklevosses all exposed.
8) The only community in crypto that will defend end-to-end encryption under serious external pressure — values you simply cannot fork.
