When he stated, “There are no students at central office,” it resonated deeply. Our work does not live in offices, meetings, or reports—it lives in classrooms, hallways, and campuses where our students and teachers are every day. Effective leaders stay connected to schools, remain visible in learning spaces, and ground decisions in what is best for students.
