Today I booked a decent amount in Gensyn .. still have 20% left. I’ll look into that later, but the main thing I came here to share is this.
Back in December 2024, I started exploring crypto. Did a bunch of testnets, tried all kinds of things. Then came across a project called Nillion, and that’s what got me interested in node-running projects.
Now, I’m from an IT background, but I honestly didn’t know much about nodes and all that at the time. That’s when I found a group called Andhi Kamai owned by
@ZeekeAlpha a small but solid community on Telegram.
He taught us how to run nodes using GCP. Yes, GCP google cloud platform the same thing that big Telegram group owners love to claim credit for. I’m not saying they didn’t teach it, but the way Zubair Bhai explained GCP, and the level of detail he went into I don’t think anyone matched that. He used to sit up all night on TG live, solving errors one by one, showing the optimized way to run nodes.
And when I say “small community,” it wasn’t that small … but still, Zubair Bhai personally helped every single person there.
Around March–April 2025, we all ran the Aztec node together. That required RPC, and honestly, the way Zubair explained how to run an RPC node in his video — I guarantee nobody explained it that clearly. While some so-called Telegram “owners” were selling RPC for $8, we ran our own nodes and gave free RPC to so many of people.
We ran nodes for Pipe, Aztec, Drosera, OG Nexus, Numerious, and Gensyn — and many more.
What days those were.
When GCP credits ran out, he even showed us the cheapest alternative way to keep running nodes.
Today, Gensyn had its TGE — and that’s where the profit came from. That patience of running nodes through all those late nights finally paid off.
Sometimes I think if I hadn’t met Zubair Bhai, and if I hadn’t run Gensyn, my entire 2025 would’ve been a waste.
Thank you, bhai ❤️❤️❤️
