Congratulations on their great work to improve children’s quality of life during a continuous 28-day infusion! Nurse Educators Alia Petropoulos & Lisa Honeyford wrote about their experience creating the blinatumomab backpack in the new POGO Nursing Newsletter. Read the story here: bit.ly/3WeNNub
A recent @COGorg study co-chaired by POGO board member @Zen_Sumit, shows that adding #Blinatumomab to standard therapy increases disease-free survival up to 97.5 per cent for pediatric B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL), the most common #ChildhoodCancer. New drugs and therapies are vital to saving lives and ensuring thriving futures for kids with cancer. POGO and partners are committed to improving timely and equitable access to evolving diagnostics and therapeutics. As part of Ontario’s new #ChildhoodCancerCarePlan developed by POGO, we will help to bring evidence-based treatments to children with cancer faster.
