One of the most underrated parts of the IBO model is the Cashout Pool. Most token launches force participants into the open market if they want liquidity. The Cashout Pool creates a second path. During the cashout phase: > Users can exchange their token entitlement for SOL before trading begins > The cashout price is set at a discount to the implied listing price > Users who want liquidity can exit without market selling pressure If a creator chooses to receive part (or all) of their proceeds in tokens instead of SOL, the SOL that would have gone to the creator stays inside the system. That SOL is redirected into the Cashout Pool. The result is a larger cashout pool, more exit liquidity for participants, less pressure on secondary markets, and better alignment between creators and buyers Instead of liquidity leaving the system, it gets recycled back to the community.

The difference between buying a new narrative and buying an established narrative at a discount is the source of your expected return.
