One universal truth: every codebase has Bugs waiting to be caught.

What do you do when hacks keep increasing in 2026? Take extra care of your protocol and increase incentives for whitehats to spend more time reviewing your code: NOOOO ❌ Reduce bounty rewards and lower incentives so whitehats don't spend a single minute looking at your codebase: YEEESSSSSS ✅ Projects acting like this really piss me off.
Bounty program update: "Our code was so easy to break that we had to lower the rewards. We hope the low-cost AI submissions will catch all the remaining vulnerabilities."

AI is really good at making you choose the dumbest path and convincing you to stop growing on your own. It's been a week since I last used AI, and it feels like my brain has started working again lol.

So.... I built a thing. Say hello to cryptoccino.xyz! A daily Web3 news brief you can read in five minutes over an espresso. Each morning’s issue runs four fixed beats - Markets (the majors and the macro) - Projects & Money (launches, upgrades, funding, DeFi) - Security Desk (exploits and threat intel) - On the Hill(regulators and policy) It's free and will stay free.

AI discovers a bug that humans overlooked—> the entire X community discusses how AI will replace them and so on—> then forgets about it—> repeats the process with new models. Human whitehats find a bug—> there’s no hype (sometimes they don’t even pay them)—> and then forget about it. Why do you even make things look like a battle between AI and humans? It’s us against blackhats and hackers!

Educate yourself more and more. In the coming years, most people will ask AI to perform the most basic tasks for them instead of using their own minds to think. Have you ever heard the quote that says: “Many People Would Rather DIE than Think ”? This will be the case for 80-90% of people in this space in the upcoming months and years. So, educate yourself, sharpen your skills, and learn more about AI, programming, or anything related to your field so that you can be among the 10-20%. AI is both a blessing and a curse at the same time.

Well said
Listen white hat, Hackers try to cheat systems through deep thinking, they find exploits, but they don’t try to cheat thinking itself. Many of you have had your brains hacked: your attention spans shortened, your thinking is outsourced. You’re left with nothing. But you're building an AI harness, and you want it to find every bug in the world. Turns out, to build a solid AI harness, you need weeks and months of deep thinking before even taking the first step. But some of you have already given up that capability.

Pro tip: Never run your ai agent on a codebase you don’t understand!

Back to beginning again, Every time I think the AI is ready, I realize it’s not quite there yet, and it definitely needs some more work!

🧵[1/6] Last week I privately disclosed a valid vulnerability affecting Alephium’s Wormhole bridge integration. The issue was confirmed by the team. It allowed a permissionless attacker to drain the entire balance of a live mainnet contract.
Replying to @alephium
The cause of the exploit has been identified. The exploit was NOT caused by a compromise of the guardian keys, contrary to some early external reports. The team is now fully focused on recovery and remediation efforts. We are working around the clock to address the impact of this incident and support affected users. Our next update will be shared on Monday. Throughout next week, we will provide additional information regarding the recovery process for users with ALPH locked in the bridge, further details on the exploit and its cause, and a comprehensive postmortem. We sincerely thank our community for its patience and support while we work through this situation.

The AI agent I’m currently creating is not meant to replace me or any other security researcher. The goal is to build something closer to a senior SR, one that can work faster than me and surface exploit paths that might take a human more time to find. But I don’t believe it will ever fully replace the intuition of top tier hunters, at least not for now and upcoming year!. Maybe in the coming weeks or months it might catch some strong critical's with little to no human involvement lol, but for now, I see it as a powerful agent that can work on many bbp in same time, not a replacement.

And this AI is not meant to spam reports. My goal is not to make projects waste time and effort reviewing non-worthy findings. The goal is simply to find bugs that might otherwise go unnoticed. Every finding should go through at least 10 verification stages, followed by another review strong step before anything gets submitted. I’ll be incredibly happy if it help prevent even 1 out of every 10 hacks we see nowadays. Also, this is not marketing. I have zero plans to sell AI products, or start a business around them, or make noise about what I’m building. I’m still a complete beginner in the AI space, and I’m just doing my best to build something that works well for me. So no marketing BS here and in future posts either 😂

You haven't seen anything yet; SR Summer is just beginning.
This is promising @immunefi. You know how to attract professional whitehats.

Serious question, if you built an AI agent that could potentially hunt real bugs for you (actual exploitable issues if they exist), Let’s say it succeeds on 3 out of 10 projects, and each run cost from $600-$1.5k , would you take the risk?

I built AI, and it passed a test I gave it, it found 3 out of 4 bugs that I already knew existed. Thinking a bit like a blackhat, it’s around 90% automated and 10% guided by me. No hype for now, it’s way too early to celebrate such a small success. But I genuinely hope I’m building something that can help prevent even 0.1% of the hacks happening today. If it works the way I want, I’ll share the full process and everything I learned along the way. If I win, all of you here should win too. We’re fighting blackhats, not each other. Don’t be too optimistic about this post(yet!) 😄 I just enjoy sharing small progress with the community.

I’m genuinely curious why this guy still hasn’t found good offer that he look for!?. Seriously, don’t miss him, you’ll definitely regret it!
If anyone is hiring for a lead security position or looking for vCISO role, I’m open for work.

Building your own AI is enjoyable and challenging. Creating something that thinks like a BLACKHAT and efficiently manages a vast codebase without overlooking any critical path is indeed difficult, but again, its FUN!
