The tokenization thesis was written in 2017. Nearly 10 years ago.
The thesis was right. The rails didn't exist.
Now they do and every layer of the stack is still up for grabs. Issuance, distribution, liquidity, data, composability, ratings, oracles, you name it.
Being early was never the edge here, things were so uncertain and every advancement seemed to require a leap of faith.
What counts is being positioned when the rails go live is & that time is now.

Love seeing chains lean fully into RWA tokenization, it's paying off.
I've had lots of excellent conversations with chain teams over the past few weeks & every single one is serious about RWAs.
Any chain dismissing them now will be pivoting soon enough.

Hot take: the oracle layer will capture more value from RWA growth than most issuers.
Every tokenized fund, NAV update, and proof of reserve = recurring demand. And every major RWA exploit traces back to one root cause: bad price feeds.
Oracle choice is the difference between an asset and a liability.
In 5 years, 2-3 networks will be embedded in every tokenized asset on earth.
Standards wars always end this way.

Maybe an underrated point about RWAs, the asset is rarely the moat. Issuance is solved. Custody is solved.
The moat is ecosystem, things such as distribution partners, DeFi integrations, the protocols that make your token composable rather than just wrapped.
Your product grows at the speed of the network around it.
