Very little reason why Ollie shouldn’t be the England captain at this point. He’s a giant in an every sense and Itoje clearly needs a break (and would probably grow without captaincy).
George Martin and Ollie Chessum in the second row against South Africa. Please. They have been PHENOMENAL today.

It’s not about an alcohol ban. It’s about creating an environment where cricketers don’t end up being functioning alcoholics as has happened for the past 50 years.
Rob Key is considering a complete alcohol ban for the England team after admitting it's "hard to say" they can be trusted | @GeorgeDobell1 thecricketer.com/Topics/engl…

This Bath Tigers is completely unwatchable. The application of the laws is appalling. The communication from the officials is appalling. The inconsistent use of the TMO is appalling.

We’re going to be having some very difficult conversations about Ben Stokes this summer.
That's a straight ball man compared to what Root and Brook got

Cricket is such a funny sport because you have people doing 19329944 minutes of analysis to a 0.45 second piece of technique.

Been having my own little mental health crisis the past week and it’s not the people’s fault, but the nhs has been non-existent/actually making things worse. It’s incredibly sad what’s happening.

I spoke to a homeless chap outside of @LeicesterTigers today, who explained that he always begs on a match day. Last week a man bought him coffee then wheeled him into stadium hospitality, fed him, bought him some clobber and made him felt seen. Turns out it was a team member…

Said to a friend the other day, please someone bestow me with the confidence of Wes Streeting. He’s completely delusional and therefore, dangerous politically.
There is no plausible route to Number 10 for Wes Streeting. How Wes Streeting is unaware of this fact truly baffles me.

The visceral hatred people have for him is bewildering considering how bland and empty he is. Shows you always have to have a vision to sell regardless.

Still think Starmer's voice and persona play a big part in people's dislike of him.

I think Rugby League has more room for growth than Union these days. Union’s best chance is zoning in on non English speaking countries but they won’t whereas League will keep growing in NZ & France while the NRL becomes the biggest sports league outside NA& Eur, IPL exc

Polanski is making the same mistakes as Corbyn here. Trying to start a conversation about police brutality after two innocent old men got stabbed because of their Jewish identity is dumb, based upon what we see in the video.

And I say that as a massive fan of what Polanski is doing in general, but this is just not the time and place. It’s not going to appeal at all.

In my experience, Occupational Therapists always seem to be the most effective operators in #NHS mental health settings yet they’re always the first to go when there’s a budget cuts usually because senior managers don’t know the purpose and value of their role.

Notice Woakes doesn’t mention a single player here that isn’t already around the squad. Even has to be prompted with Rew. Boys club.
