A football field-sized balloon will carry a radio telescope to the stratosphere in 2027, with #QueensU students helping design the system that will get it there.
Launching from Brazil, the mission will collect data alongside observatories in North America and Europe. Supported by the Canadian Space Agency, the project is giving students hands-on experience with the technical demands of high-altitude astronomy research.
