I love how after the season ends there are always reporters saying, ‘Watch out for the next few weeks, it’s gonna be busy,’ and then absolutely nothing happens lol

Look at this idiot
Despite finishing first in the east, Carolina is the least scary team in the conference.

Right on. Gotta work on the morning. Guess I’m not watching this shit now.
🚨 With coverage now starting at 8:00PM ET, the first fight is expected to be at 9:00PM ET, one hour later than planned (via @IratiPratSC)

I’ll take “Things that are never going to happen” for $1000, Alex. Man, so much delusion. 😂😂😂
If we can fleece Utah for Iginla, Desnoyers AND Peterka in exchange for a guy begging to leave, we are SO back.

Y’all remember the OUTRAGE when Cole got two 2nd-place Hart votes and everyone immediately blamed “fucking homer Quebec reporters”? Well, it turns out the voters were Dylan Loucks from Minnesota and Ken Campbell from Toronto. Funny how people are so quick to create a narrative before knowing the actual facts.

Because I want to be transparent and stand by my work that I’ve done in this industry for almost a decade now, I gave Nick Suzuki a first-place vote for Hart. The Hart’s criteria is the “most valuable player to his team.” Yes Habs have rising talent, but Suzuki had a 100 point season, was the league’s top defensive forward and they don’t make the run they did and turn into a legit team to watch without him. That said, the ballots altogether were by no means easy this year. I’m confident enough in my vote and have integrity, so I’m more than happy to share my explanation with you all and have it out there.

So, the @CanadiensMTL had top-5 players in the league at every position this season. Nick Suzuki, C, age 25 Cole Caufield, W, age 24 Lane Hutson, D, age 21 Then you add: Juraj Slafkovský, 73 pts, age 21 Ivan Demidov, 62 pts, age 19 Jakub Dobeš, 29-10-4, age 24 Plus 4 prospects who’d likely be lottery picks in redrafts. Michael Hage, 20 Alexander Zharovsky, 19 David Reinbacher, 21 Jacob Fowler, 21 Team-friendly deals. Cap space. They just went to the Conference Final as the youngest team in the NHL while playing the two most exciting series of the playoffs before the Cup Final. Not sure people realize how ridiculous Montréal’s outlook is. Can’t wait to see how management shapes this team over the next decade. #GoHabsGo

McTavish vs Lafrenière and everyone's out here debating analytics like this isn't actually a simple question McTavish is a buy low on a 23 year old possession monster whose 94th percentile Corsi screams top six center if you put him in the right system. He had trouble adjusting to Quenneville's system in Anaheim that's a coach problem not a player problem. As a junior aged player he showed a tantalizing power center skill set and he's still young enough that it's worth betting on a post hype breakout. Lafrenière meanwhile just dropped 57 points in 82 games with a 60 defensive rating and elite transition numbers. At 6'2" he could play fantastically alongside Demidov and Slafkovsky and into Martin St. Louis's coaching style. You want the proven two way winger who is more or less there, or the cost controlled center with the higher ceiling who just needs a reset and work? your calling Kent Hughes and asking for ???? #gohabsgo thanks again @benchrates for an awesome website

I’d imagine the ducks. I don’t think Dach holds much value right now. Teams will be interested because his age and bounce back ability, but they won’t give up much for him due to his injuries. I’d add Kapanen to this package though if they wanted, or another prospect
Crazy Mock Trade: who says no?? The Montreal Canadiens Receive: Mason McTavish The Anaheim Ducks Receive: Kirby Dach 2026 first round pick 2027 second round pick
