California universities dropped the SAT to help low-income and minority students. The policy is doing the opposite, writes Svetlana Jitomirskaya, a professor of mathematics at UC Berkeley. thefp.com/p/bring-back-the-s…

Not a cloud in the sky across virtually all of California today. What a view from space.

This album cover had an unfathomable impact on my personal aesthetic and fashion in high school. It wasn't enough to dress like the guys either. I wanted to be those Nashville filtered clouds

Jams on Spotify are cool but next to impossible to coordinate and ensure a quality session with total strangers like dubtrack could. No public lobbies to browse or moderation tools. I discovered so many new artists there

I really hate the vaguely futuristic aesthetic pomemon has had going on for awhile now. Am I crazy or was part of the appeal of old Pokémon the fact is was cozy, contemporary and almost alt world?

I might actually make my own subreddit for this sort of thing, unless that already exists somewhere? A subreddit dedicated to crossposting useful responses to old, forgotten posts otherwise doomed to obscurity
It makes me equally happy and sad to find a years old reddit post with <10 upvotes and maybe two or three comments asking a question that I have an answer for. I will always respond in the hopes that *someone* will see it and get the info they need

but knowing that most likely the OP and other users will likely never see it. I wish I could just stick my hand through the screen and drop a letter on their desk
