The sets are absolutely huge (this is just the bridge of one of the two mission ships) and full of lovely details, the backstory is great, the missions really well designed, and the actors fantastic. It’s not a cheap night out but brilliant if you’re at all in to that.
ALT The bridge of a spaceship with captain’s chair in the middle, helm, main screen, and three officer stations on either side. There’s half a dozen people in blue jumpsuits at the various stations and there is a lot of bluish lighting.

We enjoyed the last time we pretended to fly a spaceship so much we went back to @bridge_command and had even more fun. This time we knew what we were doing and there were more things we were supposed to blast away and we rose to the occasion.

Spent 7 hours living out my space navy/starship captain dreams last night at @bridge_command with a load of @ThePPSC lovelies... Space Pirates were dispatched with extreme prejudice, Treaties were signed & sabatours foiled!! Such a fab time Thanks all!! Thoroughly recommend!!

Went to the opening night of @bridge_command by @_Parabolic_
5 year old me would be very happy that one day I finally made it onto a bridge of a starship.
Awe-inspiring! I had to take a moment to live through the sheer joy of welling up and saluting that young lad I used to be.

Bridge Command opens today, on #WorldTheatreDay, four years almost to the day after it closed in its previous venue due to COVID. There is a lot wrong with the world at the moment, and theatre in the uk has many problems, but today I am going to let myself be grateful.
