In the “Spotlight Research Symposium: Understanding Suicide Ideation Subtypes to Improve Clinical Assessment Among Adolescents” @MirandaLabCUNY discussed her research in categorizing suicide ideation subtypes among ethnic-racially diverse teens. @ABCTNOW
Dr. Lauren Gulbas discussed the use of qualitative methods to uncover unique risk pathways and the application of cultural consensus analysis to adolescent suicide research via the use of body mapping to identify suicide-related warning signs among diverse adolescents.
Lastly, @anaortinp described an ongoing adaptation of these methods for assessment of SI among children that builds on analysis of data from the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) Study.
