Wait that says that the Miami Heat have been to the finals 7 times in the last 20 years. 35% of 20 entire years of existence went to the Miami Heat being in the finals. (More than the warriors, lakers, Cavs, Celtics etc) How is no one talking about this?
So, I seen a TV graphic while watching the Finals and it made me really start to think, how truly blessed we are as Heat fans to have the era we’ve had in the last 20 years. 2 decades of supremacy. I don’t think Heat fans realize that if we actually won a ring in the 2020-2023 run we would on paper be the greatest basketball organization in the last 20 years. Just 2 wins in 2020 and 3 wins in 2023, is how close we were. Do you guys understand that Curry’s Warriors are in this time frame? Yeah we’d be the greater team in the 20 year span. Think about that. Many Heat fans are extremely pessimistic, doom&gloom, sky is falling propaganda peddling but I genuinely think it’s because they’re younger fans who are “too used to” being the best team in the league. I really can’t say for sure what causes them to be so entitled. Anyways, offseason starts today, whether we get GA or not, don’t let twitter personalities and podcasters convince you Pat Riley doesn’t care about winning, we will be great once more, and the sun will most definitely shine on Miami again, I’m sure of it. Be positive, and LETS GO HEAT! Gonna be a fun offseason, I feel it 😈

Being 28 and a New York Knicks fan, Growing up in New York is tough and sports was really an outlet, the Knicks especially even when they were bad. I lived through the failure of Melo, the false hope of Amare, Melo blocked by Hibbert, years of dread, the shell of Phil Jackson, The shell of DRose of Joakhim Noah, the rise and fall of Kristaps, some of the worst lineups youll ever see. Kevin Knox in a Fortnite jacket, missing KD Kyrie and Zion and ending up with RJ Barrett, all the slander of hiring Thibs, Julius Randle playoffs, losing to the Heat and pacers twice which were all winnable series, constantly cooked in debates because I hadn’t seen my team win To one of the best rings ever, with guys on the team all with incredible stories. I got so much to write and say and do. This is inspiring and again for the first time ever I’m thanking God that I am a New York Knicks fan đŸ’đŸ™ïž

Thank you to Tom Thibodeau Dude really engrained toughness and to ball like absolute machines. Not everyone can go with you to the end, but you never get there without them. It was the big elephant in the room all season long, but if we are being real, Thibs deserves his 💐

OG Anunoby is such a good dude and good player, him with a ring now elevates him so much. I hope people now finally see what an insanely good two way player he is. He literally does whatever you need on a given night. Doesn’t get in anyone’s way on the floor
 just a champion

Karl Anthony Towns brutalized through the media always, random trade rumors, sacrificed his #1 mentality, fought through everything he’s been through in life What a talented player and good dude Karl Anthony Towns is a champion and a New York Legend

Jalen Brunson sacraficed $100 million and just had one of the best close out/finals games in general. Bro took all the hate and all the “he can’t do it” and really just became HIM tonight. Jalen Brunson just achieved Derek Jeter status, what a New York legend

Mike Brown was fired on many occasions and made fun of, but just had a masterclass of a playoffs. He had one season to get it done, on the hot season, media didn’t let him breathe. Give Mike Brown his respect

For years we had to watch some truly incredibly terrible ball, but just kept on “loving the Knicks” What a way to win, with these players, and this coach. This is absolutely one of the greatest feelings ever as it pertains to feelings that could be felt for sports.

At some point you guys need to stop saying “Spurs are just playing stupid” and “Knicks are lucky” Both teams have insane defense, and both teams have come in with great game plans and the Knicks especially have made some really good adjustments Series has been a chess match

So many teams are beating the Knicks “analytically” and yet the Knicks are still closing in on a championship As a Knicks fan, this is awesome
Through four games, I can confidently say two things: First, the Spurs are technically a better basketball team by a small margin. Second, the Spurs are the dumber team by an astronomical margin.

The New York Knicks are closing in on their first championship since the Cold War

The New York Knicks are approaching their most important season in franchise history. I completely understand if you disagree, as the Knicks have two championships before most of us were born. However, The 2025-2026 season represents the first time the Knicks will be an undoubted favorite since around that time. This is coming from a team that has been the most valuable franchise in the NBA since 2015. The collection of players and chemistry that has been built, players that want to prove themselves, a new head coach that wants to prove himself, an involved city hungry for an illustrious NBA Championship, and an East that will have an empty throne. The stakes for the Knicks have never been higher, the window has never been more open than this. There's no dynasty, no Jordan, no prime LeBron that will be in the way. There's no Cinderella when it comes to the Knicks anymore. There's no uphill battle to be completed, or a period of waiting that needs to be accomplished. This championship for the Knicks would represent much more than just a simple championship. This is finishing a story that the modern day Knicks have never been able to finish. We're talking about Ewing, Carmelo, all the failed rebuilds, every team that has fallen on it's face up to this point, all the times the Knicks get made fun of. A lot can finally be put to rest with just one championship. Winning a championship with the Knicks wouldn’t just end a drought, it would forever redefine legacies. Jalen Brunson would be immortalized in New York sports history as the point guard who brought glory back to the Garden. Karl-Anthony Towns would cement himself as the greatest shooting big man of all time, undisputed. Mikal Bridges would silence every critic, proving he can be a cornerstone in a title run. Mitchell Robinson, a Knick since the darkest days, would finally be celebrated as the loyal warrior who stayed through it all. OG Anunoby would earn the recognition and respect his defensive dominance has always deserved, while Mike Brown would quiet his doubters and prove himself as the leader who guided the Knicks of all teams to the top. And the role players Josh Hart, Guerschon Yabusele, Jordan Clarkson, Miles McBride, would force their names into Knicks lore. This wouldn’t just be a Knicks title, it would rewrite NBA history as one of the greatest championships ever.
