So apparently, not only did the Hornets know about the FBI investigation prior to the trade, the NBA itself knew, conducted their own investigation and shut Terry down for the remainder of the season in CHA, then withheld the information from the Heat in what can only be described as a coverup. Looking more and more likely for us to either get our pick back, or some other sort of compensation. The NBA either acted with complete negligence for integrity, or actively engaged in a coverup, either way, Miami was the one who suffered from this ordeal, and deserves to be fairly reimbursed. This isn’t the first time the league treated Miami unfairly, the latest example is when Dame asked to be traded to the Heat, a league-wide memo was issued prohibiting Dame from making team-specific trade requests. Just last year Jimmy Butler forced his way out of Miami, with what was initially a 1-Team list of the Suns. No memos issued, no fines set by the league. Reports of Jimmy and his camp calling other teams warning them not to trade for him have been confirmed and the league did absolutely nothing to stop this. Adam Silver and friends have proven time and time again that he has chosen favorites and whether that be rich owners subverting the salary cap or joyless players forcing themselves to or from Miami, it’s hard for a Miami fan to see what’s happened and to feel like this league has any integrity towards the Heat.

Heat fans always like to be pessimistic and not appreciate what they have. They didn't live in the moments in those deep playoff runs and always wanted more. Always so unappreciative.

Wait that says that the Miami Heat have been to the finals 7 times in the last 20 years. 35% of 20 entire years of existence went to the Miami Heat being in the finals. (More than the warriors, lakers, Cavs, Celtics etc) How is no one talking about this?

So, I seen a TV graphic while watching the Finals and it made me really start to think, how truly blessed we are as Heat fans to have the era we’ve had in the last 20 years. 2 decades of supremacy. I don’t think Heat fans realize that if we actually won a ring in the 2020-2023 run we would on paper be the greatest basketball organization in the last 20 years. Just 2 wins in 2020 and 3 wins in 2023, is how close we were. Do you guys understand that Curry’s Warriors are in this time frame? Yeah we’d be the greater team in the 20 year span. Think about that. Many Heat fans are extremely pessimistic, doom&gloom, sky is falling propaganda peddling but I genuinely think it’s because they’re younger fans who are “too used to” being the best team in the league. I really can’t say for sure what causes them to be so entitled. Anyways, offseason starts today, whether we get GA or not, don’t let twitter personalities and podcasters convince you Pat Riley doesn’t care about winning, we will be great once more, and the sun will most definitely shine on Miami again, I’m sure of it. Be positive, and LETS GO HEAT! Gonna be a fun offseason, I feel it 😈

Sooo, about last night… Knicks won their first title in my lifetime. Not sure what stage of grief I’m in, maybe denial? Feels like I’m on a ledge and I’m waiting for the GA stuff to be resolved. If we don’t land GA, which I’m not very confident of, I will be crashing out.
