OkayBears has probably had the most insane two months of any NFT project, and it’s almost completely flying under the radar. In retrospect, that’s crazy — especially when you see how much attention other projects like Clayno, Pudgy, and Doodles are getting.
During the town hall the other day, the new Kickstarter video and mission statement leaked for everyone who attended, and I don’t think we truly understand just how massive this is.
Take what Pudgy did with its plushies — mass-producing them and getting them into major retail chains everywhere. If Kais succeeds with this Kickstarter, we’re going to see a massive influx of brand deals. I’m not talking Nike or Adidas. I’m talking vision-aligned partners — think Red Cross, NGOs, and big organizations blowing up the phone to partner with us and spread the mission.
Localized organizations and locally owned businesses are already popping up all over the Discord, desperately trying to get in contact with Kais to collab on building courts in their own communities. We’re talking businesses in Seattle, San Diego, Philadelphia — you name it. Thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of people will be using these newly built courts every single year, with the biggest NFT brand stamped right in the middle and covering the walls. And that’s just the localized side.
Now imagine the Red Cross getting involved. If the Kickstarter succeeds and Kais keeps the mission alive while the brand breaks out, we’re talking global scale — millions of real-life views every single day.
None of this directly means people will run out and buy an OKB… but it’s still pretty damn cool to think about when you own one or decide to pick one up.
