Growing up i loved history and read anything i could on the 2nd WW and the Holocaust, I could never understand how people could be slaughtered on an industrial scale and the world did nothing. Its only really since the Genocide in Gaza and Lebanon that i really understood how it happened even during a world war. Its because nobody cared and all the people who could do something did nothing. To make it worse the current Genocides are being carried out live and in full colour on our TVs and phones. The current crop of world leaders will forever be remembered for doing nothing and for being cowards.

There was another young woman out jogging on the N11 this morning. Also stopped by men in a white van. May or may not be the same guys. Either way this is totally unacceptable.

SDCC has €12M for road improvements to the R115 for their €40M coffee shop. This includes removing the centre line & adding a footpath but not widening the road. This new layout will force motorists to squeeze past cyclists & ignore the legally mandated 1.5m passing distance.

Where are they while Dr Hussam Abu Safiya and Palestinian medical workers remain detained, abused and denied proper medical treatment? ▪️ And now the world acts shocked because foreign activists were finally subjected to a fraction of what Palestinians have endured for decades. In 2010, israeli forces attacked the Mavi Marmara flotilla trying to break the siege on Gaza, killing nine activists before a tenth later died from his injuries. The world condemned it, statements were made, outrage came and went, yet Palestinians remained trapped under siege while israeli war criminals continued receiving arms, protection and political cover from western governments. ▪️ To the people aboard the flotilla who were tortured, humiliated and abused while trying to break the siege on Gaza and deliver aid to starving civilians: may you recover safely and may your courage wake people up. The world saw what happened to you. Palestinians have been screaming about these crimes for years.
