This is a big win & a testament to the power of undocumented student organizing.

I hugged my brother after 17 years.
In this country there are millions of hugs that await bc of politics, bureaucracy and racism.
I hope that migrants from the global South can soon hug their loved ones without asking permission, visas or documents to countries in the North.

10/ ICE has created a surveillance infrastructure that enables it to pull detailed dossiers on nearly anyone, seemingly at any time.
Anyone can be located by ICE simply by applying for driver’s licenses; driving on the roads; or signing up for heat, water, and electricity.

I've personally seen the impact of disinformation on my own friends and family, and it is scary.
Our community is being deliberately targeted by political actors that seek to divide us, spread hate and conspiracy theories or "alternative facts" as they say.

It is important that we equip ourselves with the tools to combat disinformation and take a proactive approach in protecting our people. Kudos to @JuanitaRoars and @JoseAlonsoMunoz for leading this important work.

BTW. One way to protect us from disinformation is to support @UWDAction as well as reliable (public) local news and sources of information, which are cutting budgets and staff while suspicious sources keep popping.
