On a bunch of high value accounts on insta getting stolen and sold despite having 2FA enabled. As with SIM swapping attacks, the customer service agent is the critical path vulnerability. AI customer service agents facilitate the exploit at scale. That Meta didn’t have in place a privacy preserving way to demonstrate that the user is indeed unique human that set up the account in the first place is the root cause failure. Software job postings are rebounding: US software development job postings on Indeed have increased 6.5% since the start of the year, to the highest since January 2024. Since May 2025, openings in this sector have risen 16.7%. As a result, the 21-day moving average is up to the highest since July 2024. By comparison, overall Indeed job postings remain near the lowest since February 2021. That said, software listings are still -69% below their March 2022 peak. BREAKING: US jobs numbers have now been revised down in each of the last 13 months, by a total of -710,000 jobs.
